More Snow After This Weekend

Another cold weather system from the Gulf of Alaska will work its way into the area on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, the snow level will dip down into the Mother Lode’s foothills, where a couple of inches of snow is possible around the 2,000 to 2,500 foot elevation.

Total snow accumulations in the Sierra Nevada will range from eight inches to just over a foot.

The snow will end Monday evening.

Be prepared for winter driving conditions and travel delays in the mountains on Monday.
