Update: Cold Nights For The San Joaquin Valley

The National Weather Service will let the Freeze Warning issued for the central and southern San Joaquin Valley expire at 8 AM this (Wednesday) morning.

Temperatures fell to as low as twenty-nine degrees in the rural areas of the Valley.

Frost and freeze conditions can kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

Residents were advised to take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.
