Update: Nearly 3,500 Wake Up To No Power This Morning In Mother Lode

Update at 9:40 a.m.: A new power outage in Tuolumne County is impacting 1,535 people in the Strawberry area of Stanislaus National Forest and along Highway 108. The electricity went out around 7:35 a.m. The utility reports that a crew is assessing the cause at the outage location, with an estimated repair time of 6 p.m. For details on a smaller outage in the Sonora area of Tuolumne County and an outage impacting nearly 2,000 customers in the Murphys and Sheep Ranch area of Calaveras County, where the restoration time has been pushed to 2:15 p.m., view below.

Update at 7:55 a.m.: PG&E is reporting a new power outage in the Sonora area of Tuolumne County. It is located along Sunshine Hill Road, Sunny Ridge Lane, and Ratto Road, off Jamestown Road. The lights for 31 customers went dark around 7:32 a.m. A crew is assessing the outage, and a 10:45 a.m. restoration time has been given. Details on the Calaveras County outage can be viewed below.

Original post at 5:35 a.m.: Murphys, CA – The power is out for nearly 2,000 Calaveras County PG&E customers.

Their lights went out at around 1:15 a.m. The company reports that there are 1,852 customers in the Murphys and Sheep Ranch areas along Highway 4 without power.

PG&E says a crew is assessing the cause at the outage location. The utility has given a restoration time of noon.
