Sonora, CA — An estimated 50 ft. by 50 ft. vegetation fire was contained this evening in Sonora in the area of Stockton Road near Mill Villa.
It ignited in the vicinity of a homeless camp, according to fire officials. What ignited the fire is under investigation. There has been a lot of firefighters in the area, so traffic flow along Stockton Road has been impacted. You will want to avoid the area this evening.
