Update: Thursday Morning Frost Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for the Mother Lode until 9 AM this (Thursday) morning.

Temperatures as low as thirty-one to thirty-seven degrees are resulting in frost formation.

Frost can kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered. Take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.

Make sure outdoor pets have shelter from the cold.

Additionally, the Dense Fog Advisory issued for the Northern San Joaquin Valley has been extended until 10 AM this morning.

Visibility is one quarter mile to near zero in the dense fog. This is resulting in hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. Be alert for sudden changes in visibility.

If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
