Sonora Fire Department Kicking Off Toy Drive

Sonora, CA — Firefighters will be out this morning collecting toys for children in need.

City of Sonora firefighters will be in front of the Sonora Walmart this morning collecting new, unwrapped, toys or gift cards from 7am-noon. Fire Engineer Austin Lunde says proceeds from the toy drive will benefit Center for a Non-Violent Community, ATCAA’s Adopt a Family and the Community Christmas Celebration at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.

Beginning November 29, during regular business hours, toy donations can also be dropped off at Sonora City Hall, the Sonora Fire Department, Sierra Motors and Perko’s Café.
