San Andreas, CA — The CHP advises there will be more traffic delays through the remainder of today where a big truck overturned yesterday morning.
We reported previously that the crash stemmed from a high speed pursuit that resulted in the eventual arrest of 38-year-old Zachary Gomez, who was driving a stolen SUV. Click here to read a complete recap posted yesterday.
Throughout today Caltrans will be removing inert agricultural limestone that spilled onto the right shoulder of the roadway. One way traffic control operations will be in place so delays can be expected on Highway 49 near Carol Kennedy Road.
