Cottonwood Road Repairs Scheduled

Tuolumne, CA — Following post Rim Fire work there is a need to repair Cottonwood Road in the Stanislaus National Forest.

The US Forest Service reports that pavement repair work is scheduled to begin on August 15 and continue for approximately 60 days. The work will run Monday through Friday from 7am – 5pm. During that period there will be 15 minute delays. The project is located just past River Ranch Campground, between the bridge crossing at the North Fork of the Tuolumne River to approximately 0.15 miles before the 2N07 intersection of Cottonwood Road.

Cottonwood Road is a popular access route to popular forest destinations such as Cherry Lake. Future pavement repair projects are planned to address other damaged sections of Cottonwood Road.
