Abandoned Home Destroyed In Jamestown

Jamestown, CA — An abandoned residence was destroyed early this morning in the 18000 block of 9th Avenue in Jamestown.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded at 1:30am in the event that evacuations would be needed. Thankfully the fire was contained to the lot by firefighters. The home was located near the intersection of 7th Street. No injuries were reported, and what ignited the fire remains under investigation.
