Update at 3:18 p.m.: CAL Fire reports that Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department managed to contain a fire reported near Woodward Reservoir in Oakdale within a 100-foot spot. All local resources are returning to base.
Original Post at 3:09 p.m.: San Andreas, CA — Firefighters from the Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit of CAL Fire and Columbia air resources are heading to Stanislaus County assist with a vegetation fire just north of Oakdale. CAL Fire Dispatch reports the location is near Woodward Reservoir.
There is not yet any word on the fire’s size or rate of spread, or whether any structures are threatened. We will keep you posted as information comes into the news center
