The fire ignited on Saturday afternoon along Appaloosa Road, approximately two miles from Highway 4 and five miles from the City of Angels Camp. No homes or buildings were damaged. The forward rate of spread was stopped over the weekend. The fire remains at 310 acres. CAL Fire reports that the cause was a property owner working on an electrical panel breaker box.
