Dragoon Gulch Trail Will Close For Improvements

Sonora, CA — Some improvements to the Dragoon Gulch Trail will force its closure for two days next week.

City of Sonora Community Development Director Rachelle Kellogg reports that George Reed Inc. has donated the supplies and manpower needed to repave the stretch that is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act…which includes about 1,250 linear ft. It stretches from the Alpine Parking Lot to the North Forest area. The oil and rock material that was initially placed on the trail when it was constructed has started to fail, and in need of repair.

The entire Dragoon Gulch Trail will be closed Tuesday, June 21st and Wednesday June 22nd while the work takes place.
