Update posted at 12:20pm: CAL Fire reports the vegetation fire in the 18000 block of Lambert Lake Road is now contained. Air and ground resources responded. The fire burned approximately 1/2 acre. No homes or structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Original story posted at 12:10am: Sonora, CA — CAL Fire reports there is a vegetation fire near the 18000 block of Lambert Lake Road in Sonora.
Several resources are responding to the area from both the air and ground. Initial reports are that the fire is around an acre in size. We’ll provide more information when it comes into the news center.
