New Details About Casino Expansion

Tuolumne, CA — Black Oak Casino Resort has released a 3D rendering of the new Willow Creek Lounge that is part of the next phase of its expansion.

We reported last week that the resort will add 5,000 square ft. of casino floor space over the next year. The plan is to extend the existing casino interior, provide more comfortable spacing in the gaming areas, and relocate some of the amenities. Of note, the Willow Creek Lounge will be relocated with upgraded sound and lighting equipment. There are also plans for a new Manzanita Bar, new promotions stage, and a new location for the high limit gaming area that will be slightly elevated from the casino floor.  The expansion will coincide with work on the first phase of Black Oak Casino Resort’s RV Park facility, which will include over 100 spaces with full hook-ups. In addition, there will be an expansion of outdoor events at the nearby Westside property.

Casino General Manager Aaron Moss remarked, “The combination of the larger space, new facilities and other enhancements will greatly enrich the overall experience of our guests.”

Construction on the 5,000 sq. ft. expansion is set to begin later this year and be completed by next year, according to Moss.

The casino is currently in the midst of celebrating its 15th anniversary.
