Vegetation Fire In Jamestown

Jamestown, CA — Firefighters and Columbia aircraft make quick work of a vegetation fire in Tuolumne County. Cal Fire reports the flames broke out on Rawhide Road near Peppermint Creek Road in Jamestown. Crews were able to put the blaze out in about 10 minutes. The fire was contained at a quarter to a half acre. Cal Fire reports no structures were damaged. It is not clear what sparked the fire, which is under investigation.
