Habitat Plans Four New Homes

Columbia, CA — This coming fall, Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County is planning to build four new homes in the Parrotts Ferry Village subdivision.

Three families have currently made it through the selection process and two meetings are scheduled for next month where prospective community members can apply to become the fourth family.

The organization set a lofty goal to raise enough money to construct four homes with partner families, and reports it is currently $43,000 short of reaching that goal. The organization is still seeking sponsors and contributors.

Those upcoming application meetings will be held on Wednesday, August 5th at 5:30pm and Saturday, August 8th, at 10am at the Tuolumne County Ambulance Training Room, located at 18440 Striker Court in Sonora. You can also go to www.habitattuolumne.org.
