Sonora High To Begin Search For McCoy’s Replacement

Sonora, CA — The Sonora High School Board of Trustees has scheduled a special meeting tonight following the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Mike McCoy.

As reported previously, Dr. McCoy has accepted a Superintendent of Schools position in southern California, and will leave Sonora High at the end of June. The Board of Trustees will discuss aspects related to the search for his replacement, including the job description, search timeline, and contract. Those matters will be discussed in closed session.

Tonight’s special meeting starts at 6pm at the Superintendent’s Office at 100 School Street.
