Burglars Hit A Sonora Business

Sonora, CA –   Sonora Police are asking for the public’s help to catch the thieves who burglarized a downtown business.

Police report the incident happened sometime between Monday and Tuesday of this week when the thieves broke into the south door of Legends’ bookstore at 131 South Washington Street.

Chief Mark Stinson says,   “They [burglars] entered the building and removed approximately $1,500 worth of merchandise.”

Police are hoping someone may have information surrounding the break in at the store.  Stinson says if anyone saw anything suspicious during that two day period to give police a call at 209-532-8141.
