Sonora High Teams Face Playoff Tests

Sonora, CA — It will be a busy night for many Sonora High School student athletes.

The Wildcat football team will host Los Banos in round two of the Sac Joaquin Division IV playoffs. The Wildcats defeated Marysville last week, 56-14. The second seeded Wildcats are 10-1 on the season the third seeded Tigers are 9-2. Tonight’s game starts at 7pm at Dunlavey Field, and you can hear it live on Star 92.7.

Also, a contingency will likely be heading up to UC Davis as the girls varsity volleyball team is one win away from scoring its second straight Division-IV Sac-Joaquin section title. The girls will take the court against Hilmar at eight o’clock.
