T.U.D. Will Discuss Finances, GM and Disc Golf

Sonora, CA — The T.U.D. Board of Directors will vote on several items Tuesday.

The Board will hold a special meeting at 3pm to discuss the recruitment for a new General Manager. As reported previously, Tom Scesa will be retiring in May of next year. T.U.D. is planning to hire an outside consulting firm to coordinate aspects of the search. The two finalists to lead the effort will be reviewed and likely voted upon.

At 5:30pm, the Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting. The Board will hear a committee report regarding the disc golf course that was constructed without district permission on its Sugar Pine property. The Board will decide whether to allow the course to continue to operate, and if so, under what conditions.

The Board will also vote on whether to sign a funding agreement with the state regarding the Matelot reservoir expansion that was done due to the drought. There will also be discussion about upgrades to Phoenix Lake, and the district will hear a Quarterly Finance Report.
