Jamestown Shooting Investigation

Jamestown, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a possible shooting in Jamestown last night.  The incident happened on Seco Street after 8 p.m.  There were reports that a person was shot in the leg and that it may have been an intruder in the home.  Officers searched the area near the house last night.

This morning details are unclear as Sheriff’s officials would not reveal further details on the possible shooting or confirm if a suspect has been arrested.  We will bring you more information as soon as we get more information into the news center.

Update 8:15 a.m.: Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Investigators have confirmed there was shooting in Jamestown last night. This morning Sheriff’s investigators are still on the scene sorting out the details, but confirm a person has been arrested that may be related to this incident.
