Black Oak Elementary Sale Negotiations

Twain Harte, CA — Twain Harte School District officials will decide tonight  at its meeting whether to take the next step to sell the Black Oak Elementary School property.

The District has already offered the school to local agencies and charter schools with a $950,000 price tag. The District did not get any bites. In August, the District’s board opened the property to verbal or written bids, but still there were no offers.

Tonight the Board will vote on whether to authorize the superintendent to negotiate the sale of the property as any other commercial property.

As reported earlier, the Tuolumne County Office of Education has shown an interest in purchasing the building.
