Small Businesses Workshop

Sonora, CA — The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) affects all businesses and two Mother Lode Representatives want to make sure that local businesses are in compliance.

Senator Tom Berryhill and Assemblymember Frank Bigelow are holding a workshop and community town hall meeting in Sonora tonight on that subject and the big issues facing lawmakers.

“Some of these folks have been scrupulous in taking on small businesses in the area with legal actions,” says Bigelow, “We want people to know how to get their issue handled in a much more cost effective way.”

Attendees will also learn how the district offices can help citizens. The meeting is Monday, September 15 from 5:00p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Sonora Opera Hall 250 S. Washington Street.
