CAL Fire Contains Vegetation Fires

CAL Fire is on scene of a small vegetation fire along Rawhide Road near the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds.

The fire is believed to be less than an acre in size, and has been contained. No homes or structures were damaged, and mop-up will continue throughout the evening.

An 11 acre fire was contained this afternoon in Stanislaus County in the area of Cooperstown Road. No structures were damaged. Air resources from the Columbia Air Attack base assisted with the effort.

CAL Fire is still investigating what caused today’s fires.
