Wilseyville, CA — Firefighters and Columbia Air Attack are heading to a vegetation fire in Wilseyville near West Point in Calaveras County. There are reports a trailer dragging a chain sparked several fires along Blue Mountain Road and Mitchelll Mill Road. There is no word on size, rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened.

Update 4:45 pm: Cal Fire reports the forward rate of spread has been stopped at a 1/4 acre.
Update 4:55pm: Cal Fire now reports the fire is contained at 1/4 of an acre.
