Sonora, CA — Firefighters and Columbia Air Attack are heading to a vegetation fire on Racetrack Road.
The flames broke out on 11200 block of Racetrack Road near east Walnut Drive. There is no word on size, rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened at this time. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.

Update 4:35 PM: Cal Fire says the fire is a 100 by 100 foot spot and crews are working on containing the flames. There are no structures threatened at this time.
Update 4:55 pm: Cal Fire says the fire is now contained at 1/4 acre. No structure were threatened.
