Cedar Ridge, CA — Cal Fire reports there were two small fires in Cedar Ridge, but crews made quick work of both. The initial call went out just after 5:30 pm for a vegetation fire on Brookside Drive near Estralita Drive.
When crews arrived on the scene, they found a spot fire and contained it within minutes. Nearby was a half-acre blaze. Firefighters have stopped the forward rate of spread on that fire. No structures were threatened. Crews will remain on the scene for the next several hours mopping up.
