Milton, CA — Firefighters and Columbia Air Attack are heading to a vegetation fire south of Valley Springs. Cal Fire reports the flames broke out in the 12700 block of Hunt Road near Milton Road east of the town of Milton. There is no word on size, rate of spread or if any structures are threatened. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.
Update 3:40 pm: Cal Fire reports the fire is 3 to 4 acres in size and no structures are threatened.
Update 4:05 pm: Cal Fire now reports the fire is contained at 5 acres and started in some grass.
