Vegetation Fire In Tuolumne County

Jamestown, CA — Firefighters are on the scene of a vegetation fire in the 17200 block of Highway 108 near Chicken Ranch Road. Cal Fire reports the fire is a half-acre in size with a slow rate of spread and one structure is threatened.  We will bring you updates as soon as we get more information into the newsroom.

Update 1:30 pm: Cal Fire reports the fire has spread to 1 1/2 acres.  There is no word on what type of structure is threatened.

Update 1:55 pm: Cal Fire reports the forward rate of spread has been stopped at two acres.
