T.U.D.: Discussing Rates And Conservation Measures

Sonora, CA — The T.U.D. Board of Directors will talk about water conservation, rates, and next year’s budget.

Those are a few of the items that will be up for debate at Tuesday’s meeting. The Board will hear an update on surface water supply, discuss whether to make any adjustments to the current phase III conservation measures, and go over the budget proposal for 2015. In addition, the Board will discuss whether to implement a 2.78% rate increase for next fiscal year.

The Board will also vote on finalizing the details of the water transfer with the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians regarding supply from New Melones.

Tuesday’s meeting starts at 5:30pm.
