City Council To Discuss Water Woes

Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council will get an update on the water crisis. Tuolumne Utilities District General Manager Tom Scesa will give the status of the water supply and the additional Phase III mandatory restrictions that went into effect this past week.

The Sonora City Council will decide whether to approve revisions and appointments to the Vision Sonora Implementation Committee.


In addition, the Council will vote on closing roads for the Sonora Gran Fondo Bike Ride that will be held on Sunday, April 27.


Tuesday’s City Council meeting starts at 5 p.m. at City Hall. City Council meetings are typically held on Monday’s, but it is postponed this week because of the President’s Day holiday.
