Mother Nature Stops Santa

Sonora, CA – The possible snow storm has created some scheduling changes for the Clarke Broadcasting’s Santa Fly-In Cash and Coat Drive with Interfaith Social Services.

Due to the potential driving hazards and frigid temperatures from the storm, Santa won’t be making an appearance this year. However, to try to beat Saturday’s bad weather, the coat drive has been pushed up a day. Please plan to drop off your coats this Friday at the old Wright’s Tire location at the corner of Restano Way and Mono Way from 9am-2pm. Any size coat is appreciated!

The Interfaith Cash Drive will go on as scheduled. Tune into Star 92.7 and 93.5 KKBN on Thursday and Friday morning to help a great cause. An on-air cash drive will begin on both Star 92.7 and 93.5 KKBN from 6-10am. Call (209) 533-1450 to donate.

One hundred percent of all donations go to Interfaith Social Services to help Tuolumne County families in need. The first three years of this event the community donated over $70,000 cash and more than 5,000 coats. The donations helped them meet local needs for many months.
