Copperopolis, CA — CAL Fire is investigating what caused a vegetation fire in Copperopolis.
It occurred during the early morning hours yesterday in the 2800 block of Salmon Road. CAL Fire officials responded from Altaville, Copperopolis, Green Springs, Standard and Baseline. In addition, local crews responded from Copperopolis Fire.
The fire burned approximately ¼ acre of grass. No homes or structures were damaged, and no one was injured. Officials remained on scene for several hours. To view a map of the area, click here.
