A Gardena woman who allegedly locked her 6-year-old grandson inside a sweltering van has been placed on three years of probation. Dorothy Hollins pleaded no contest to felony child abuse yesterday in a Torrance Courtroom. She was arrested in August after employees of a Target store rescued the boy, who´d been left in the van in a parking lot while Hollins shopped.
