Firefighters from across the state including the Motherlode are attending a memorial service this morning for
Air Tanker pilot Larry Groff. He died in a mid-air collision with pilot Lars Stratt of Chico. They were attempting to put out a Mendocino fire last
month.
Two men are charged with murder in connection with that fire.
