Growth impact fees won´t be going up in Tuolumne County just yet.
At the supervisors meeting Tuesday morning, a recommendation to more than double the fees builders pay on each new home in the county was put off for a couple of months so everyone could better understand where the new figures came from.
The current fee is $1,723, and the proposed new fee is $4,286.
Growth impact fees are designed to offset the increased costs to the county that new homes bring.
