A road rage incident has resulted in an asault with a deadly weapons charge against a Sheep Ranch man.
Calaveras County deputies say 54-year-old Daniel Rau pointed what appeared to be a hunting rifle at Pioneer resident Narcisco Sanchez after Rau claimed Sanchez ran him off the road in the Mokelumne Hill area.
The weapon turned out to be a BB gun shaped like a deer rifle.
