Issa Is Out

Already this recall election is changing its complexion at every turn…. here´s the latest twist.

This news just coming in this afternoon — Republican Congressman Darrell Issa – who funded the effort to recall California governor Gray Davis – won´t be running. Issa says he´s pulling out of the recall election.

Issa made the announcement outside the Registrar of Voters office in San Diego. He broke into tears as he announced that he´ll retain his seat in Congress so he can work toward peace in the Middle East.
