Tazer Used To Subdue Mtn. Ranch Suspect

Calaveras County Sheriff deputies used a tazer weapon early this morning to subdue a man they say resisted arrest and fought with deputies.

Authorities say 39 year-old Mountain Ranch resident Anthony Abel was taken into custody around 3 a.m. this morning after he broke windows at Senders Market, blocked Mountain Ranch Road and fought with officers.

He was cited and later released from Calaveras County jail.
