As millions of Californians get ready to file their taxes, some teachers are angry over a suspended tax credit.
Last year, more than 210,000 teachers claimed the Teachers Retention Credit. It compensated them for out-of-pocket money spent on school supplies. But the tax break has been cut for 2002 because of the state´s budget problems.
