An attorney for Scott Peterson says the convicted killer´s life is “worth saving.”
Peterson´s defense team trying to persuade a jury to spare him from the death penalty for killing his pregnant wife, Laci.
Defense co-counsel Pat Harris told jurors today that many details of Peterson´s life were exposed during the trial that culminated with a guilty verdict last month.
But he says jurors don´t know the true Scott Peterson, and he intends to show them the good things that happened in the 30 years before Laci Peterson´s death.
The defense statements came after a day of sometimes heart-rending testimony from Laci Peterson´s family.
