Teen Faces Treatment, Probation in DUI Death

An 18-year-old accused in the death of a man last August… has pleaded No Contest.

Zachary Airola made the plea to two counts of DUI manslaughter last week in Calaveras County Superior Court.

19-year-old George Langston was killed in the wreck on Highway 4 near Parrotts Ferry Road. Reports say Airola was driving at a high rate of speed, and his truck rolled over and ejected Langston.

Airola will serve a year in a treatment program, and then will be sentenced to three years probation. He returns to court April the 27th to learn the conditions of his probation.
