Two people were injured after a head-on collision at Jesus Maria Road and Whiskey Slide east of Mokelumne Hill.
Ambulances and CHP units responded to the scene.
An air ambulance was dispatched, but was later cancelled when it was learned the two victims had suffered only minor injuries.
