Sonora, CA — The family of a missing woman from Hawthorne, Nevada is continuing to search the area along Highway 108 near the Donnell Vista overlook.
Sixty-four-year-old Nita Mayo was last seen August 8th when she told friends she was taking a day trip to the California Sierras.
Mayo´s daughter Tracy Mayo says family members are seeking volunteers for another search this Saturday.
A large scale search of the area by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department last Saturday turned up nothing.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff´s Department is continuing to investigate the disappearance along with authorities from Mineral County Nevada.
