Matthew Barnes, a resident of Empire and former resident of Tuolumne County, passed away on Sunday, July 2, at Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale. A Viewing will take place on Saturday, July 8, 8 to 10 AM , followed by a Funeral Service, 10 AM at Sierra Pines Old German Baptist Church, 22004 Tuolumne Road N., Twain Harte. There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, July 8, 2 PM at Wood Colony Cemetery, 3511 Dakota, Modesto. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to your favorite charity.
