Katherine Bishop passed away Friday, April 15th at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto, CA. She was born in Oklahoma and was the youngest of seven children, among those who lived locally: Mildred Fuller, Donald Wano and Ron Wano. She was born a member of the Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma and was raised by her Great Uncle Luke and Aunt Stella Brock. Upon graduating from high school, Katherine married Bill Bishop and they were married for 57 years. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home are handling the arrangements. She was preceded in death in 2009 by her husband Bill and her daughter Debbie Matthews and is survived by her sons, Mike Bishop of Jamestown, Barry and Jodie Bishop of Sonora, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Katherine was a blessing to her family, very much loved, and will be profoundly missed.
