Yosemite Visitors Find A Way Past Rockslide

Yosemite, CA– Although Highway 140 to Yosemite Park has been closed off due to a rockslide in April, Park Ranger Scott Gediman says most Yosemite National Park visitors have not been affected.

He says in fact, Yosemite parks´ visitation had increased this June from last June. People still wishing to enter the park are taking Highway 120 or Highway 41. He adds although the road closure can affect visitors, it takes a bigger toll on park employees.
