Cool Off And Travel For Free

San Francisco, CA — If you´re headed for the Bay Area today we´ve got some good news for you.

Initially, the high in San Francisco is predicted to be 75 degrees, not the 105 degrees predicted for Sonora.

Secondly, Bay Area commuters will get to ride buses, ferries and trains for free today. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has declared a Spare The Air day.

Spare the Air days are aimed at getting people out of their cars on hot, windless summer days when the region is expected to exceed federal air quality standards.
