Groveland Pair Injured In Plane Crash

Pine Mountain Lake, CA — Two people were injured Thursday evening at approximately 8:00pm when their 1991 single engine fixed wing RV-6A experimental model airplane ran off the runway at Pine Mountain Lake Airport.

The plane took out a fence and ended up in the yard of a nearby Owl Court residence. 61 year old Ron Oler of Groveland suffered a laceration to his head. His 39 year old wife, Pam, experienced back and stomach pain.

Both were transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. The plane suffered major damage.
