Sonora, CA — After being closed for several hours, Old Priest Grade is now open to through traffic.
The Highway Patrol says a man believed to be using excessive speed drove his vehicle off of the roadway and ended up 200 feet bellow, at the bottom of a canyon after 2:00pm.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the driver has not been released pending the notification of family members.
